Premium Home Inspection Package

For those building a new home and working with a volume home or boutique builder, Buildwise Projects provides a complete review and inspection package including:


Defects and quality reports

Many clients approach us once the builder has commenced with concerns regarding escalating costs, poor workmanship or the slow progress of the project.

We can inspect a property and prepare detailed reports. No matter what stage you are at with your building project, a Buildwise Projects inspection and report will give you peace of mind.


VCAT matters and expert witness

When there is a dispute or serious breach of the contract documents by a builder, we are engaged to prepare an expert witness report for the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. We work with leading legal firms as well as Builders Warranty insurers to ensure rectification of incomplete and defective works.

The reports can include detailed scope of works and cost estimates where required.


Dilapidation surveys

When building on or close to a boundary or an adjoining building it is necessary to undertake a dilapidation survey to protect against claims for damages. This is a photographic record of the condition of an adjoining building and its surrounds which can be used should a dispute arise


Maintenance reports

Buildwise Projects provides the following services to Owners Corporations

We provide construction management of rectification works on a site, tender the works to contractors, monitor the progress and quality of works on site, keep the owners corporation updated, ensure all contractors meet the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, ensure adequate protection for residents and visitors during the works. We also assess and approve contractor’s progress claims, prepare defects lists on completion and ensure final completion of works. Refer Construction Management Section.
